***********************Spanish For The English Speakers************
MainMenuSpanish(Spanish-One) is a menu-driven audio-visual pre-mainstream Spanish lesson module presenting Simple and Progressive Voice sentences in present, past, and future tenses. In sentences, Verb conjugations are used at a minimum, concentrating on the Auxiliary Verbs "estar" (to be) and the Progressive Voice of "ir"(to go) combined with Infinitive and Present Participle verbs that are used as Main Verbs. Simple Present and Past (Preterite) verbs are also conjugated because they do not take an Auxiliary Verb.
Although the conjugation of Simple Present tense verbs are listed and reviewed, they will be covered in more detail in Spanish For English Speakers II (pending) as will irregular verbs in present, past, and future tenses.
These lessons show the similarities and differences between English and Spanish pronunciation and spelling as well as phrase and sentence development.
This module can be used by a student working independently, in a teacher directed class, or as an auxiliary source of materials for a teacher working with his/her own lesson plans. The lessons include definitions of Parts of Speech, word, phrase, and sentence exercises, vowel and consonant sounds, and Main and Auxiliary Verb usage.
Where does the student need help? Can this fast-moving auxiliary source reinforce a teacher's regular lesson plan through audio-visual presentations of vowels, consonants, or combinations of subject/predicate, adjective/common noun, or pronoun/verb, for example?
In a teacher directed environment, the teacher can guide the class through the Student Exercises and Directory, reinforcing current lessons with input from the Teacher's Auxiliary Lessons which review lessons on Infinitive and Present Participle verbs, verb conjugations, sentence structure, examples and definitions of Parts of Speech, the use of subject pronouns, and the pronunciation of words, vowels, and consonants in Spanish.
The student working independently, can work at his own pace using the Student Lessons and Student Directory as well as the Teacher's Auxiliary Lessons and Directory.
Whichever path taken, the student will learn that each older lesson serves as a foundation for the later lessons covering the newer material.
Taking up 412 MB with over 2000 exercises for student review, MainMenuSpanish prepares the student for Spanish For English Speakers II.
